From royal special to national gift, filigree craft, one of Yanjing Eight's handicraft art, has been in a high position all along. Filigree crafts use rare materials and complex techniques to prove their worth for the royals. However, after Aldo Bakker's design, the filigree craft was changed to a net and finally made into three pieces of daily Western kitchen utensils. The seemingly regular and industrialized arrangement is the pinnacle of handwork by 12 craft masters from CHJ Jewelry working together for half a year, making the crafts a real 'priceless treasure’.
